General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - implications for organisations with websites

The EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25 May 2018, just nine months away. From that date all EU countries and businesses that have activities in the EU will be required by law to adhere to GDPR.

There are implications for any organisation which holds and processes personal data. There are some general actions you need to make sure you take (or have taken), and there are actions in relation to the website in particular which need to be taken.
